Lacrosse mini album

Here is the mini album I made. I actually used a few soccer and baseball things since I didn’t really have much lacrosse stuff, but it all seemed to come together just fine.

Here’s the cover.

So here’s the cover of my little organizer I made. I love this paper, such a fun and whimsical feel to it. This is a little organizer to help keep me on track for Christmas. I always seem so rushed near the middle of december, that I made this book to try to spread out the chores and hopefully have a little more time come December.

These are the pages. One side has Christmas tasks, and one side has housecleaning tasks. There are 15 weeks worth leading up to Christmas.

Here is an example of Week 2.  I wanted something that I could keep the book and simply print out new cards each year if I wanted.  There are little tags on the top of the cards to make lifting them out easier.  Honestly, these cards took me longer to make than the book!

This is week 15. All the papers co-ordinate so well that it made it pretty easy to mix and match patterns for this.

When I put the pages together, I left some room to slide some extra tags in between the pages. These I can record any grocery lists, gift ideas, changes for next year, anything I like. I put ribbon on these tags to make them a little easier to pull out and to make them a little different than the job tags.

I did do a couple of extra pages too in case I forgot something important!

Spirit Game

Spirit Game

Spirit Game

I took these pictures last year at our school spirit game. It was such a fun evening, our team played really well and we won the game! Ryan and Erik painted themselves before the game to show their school spirit and everyone loved it.

I wanted this layout to have a school feel to it so chose these papers for their colour as well as the school tone they had.  I think it turned out okay.

2 pager

BFF's

Here is a 2 pager layout I did the other day. The colours are bright and cheerful just like these girls. This is Krysten and her bff’s  on the last day of school for this year.  I brought my camera and snapped away, aren’t they great.  (Even with their funny smiles!)

Silly girls

Silly girls

This layout is of my daughter, her friend, and my niece. I just love these girls, silly as they are.  They enjoy each others company and are so fun to be around. Glad I managed to snap some pics!

Big Title

JUmp

Jump

This layout was done for a challenge over at The Scrapping Nook. The challenge was to use a big title, so I went for it! I think it actually worked well for this layout and design.

This is one of Ryan’s best friends jumping here. Here does so well, its such a pleasure to watch him.

Used my new punch!

Ryan

Ryan

I used my new swiss cheese punch on this layout. I really like it. Adds a bit of decoration and sort of whimsical too, going along with the Dr. Seuss theme. Papers are older ones from Fancy Pants, just getting aorund to using them now. Hey better late than never right!

A new layout.

Ryan and Shauna

Here is a new layout finally. I know I’ve been neglecting this blog, perhaps that will be part of my summer project to get it up to date!

Anyways, here is a layout of Ryan and Shauna, taken at the track, just standing around.  I like to catch them in the “off” moments sometimes, when they arent’ really doing anything.

Be back later!

I really like this line of paper from Basic Grey. Beautiful colors, and lots of nice designs.

Here’s a layout of Abby and Ryan at Christmas. She was such a good girl, and would just curl up with him whenever she got a little nervous. It was a fun day but a bit much for her at times. Such a little cutie.

It’s 2009!

Another New Year, here’s hoping it’s a fabulous one.   I’ve had a nice break over Christmas, managed to lots of celebrating, eating, visiting and even some scrapping.  What a great holiday.  Here’s one I did for a challenge over at Love is in the details, another soccer layout, this one with a grungy look.

Here’s to a great 2009 everyone.
